Back to the Beginning: Essie She's Picture Perfect

The birth of this blog has an interesting story. I'd been talking with my girl Rach about starting a blog for quite a long time. Like, almost a year or more. Then last spring, when she was on vacation, she asked me to write a guest post for Stuff.

I'd just picked this polish up and was smitten. And now I thought it might be fun to take a trip down memory lane =)

She's Picture Perfect came out in this spring's Resort collection. I remember calling it, "Inscouciant's sister from another mister" when I'd guest written for Rach. It's a delicate lilac with a wicked pink shimmer. I love it! In certain lights it pulls a bit blue, which reminds me of hydrangeas. Which makes me love it even more.

It's much more purple IRL but...you all know the name of the game. Purples are hard! This is 3 coats with SV.

I know Friday's I usually do Blue for Bryant but this week will feature a nude. One of my great uncles passed away and the visitation/funeral are Thursday & Friday. I'll be showing you a nude/work appropriate/serious colour.
