Everyday Life: Week 3

I've been a bad blogger this week, I'm sorry!! It's been insanely busy here with work & school. I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned it but I'm a tutor for athletics along with working at my new job. Wednesday, I left the house for work around 8 and didn't leave campus until 5:00. Only to turn around and go back in at 7 so I could tutor. I love what I do, don't get me wrong, but I was asleep on my feet almost all week, whew.

It's been a shocking, rough week here at CMU. There was an abduction at gunpoint and rape of a student from outside our fitness facility. She survived and is recovering with her family, which we are all SO thankful for. It's been a shock to our safe little town & campus. We coming together and healing as a community as best we can. So I've tried to spend a lot of this week's spare moments with Bryant.

Let's enjoy the brighter moments of this last week

[chili night with friends. I think we're going to make it a Sunday night tradition!]

[lighthouse+sailboat skirt]

[lunch]

[cotton ball clouds]

[flowers from Bryant]

[hues of grey]

[I love when clouds turn pink in the mornings]

[peppermint bark coffee+french toast scone]

[late night dinner with friends after a double header basketball day]

[he still loves me, I swear!]

[this morning's sky]

Now that I've gotten a better handle on my week's schedule, I'll be way better about posting! Starting with tomorrow. Rach and I have a Skinny Dipping (With Friends) for you!

  1. Are those the grey boots you said you thrifted? Because they're lovely!

Also, I see your horse books on the shelf. ;)
