Happy New Year!

I'm sorry I've been so absent as of late!

I was home (i.e. my dad's house) where we were having internet issues. Something about being set for too high of speeds or something. Whatever.

And then Bryant and I went home to spend time with his parents, who live in the middle of nowhere. No, seriously. And their internet is slooooower than molasses in the middle of January (thanks for that idiom, Grandma).

And now, since we're back before the big rush, our apartment is doing all the necessary maintenance before the beginning of the semester (NEXT WEEK, OMG).

Anyway.

I hope you all had a Happy Christmas, a restful break and rang in the New Year with those you love most.

Are you guys liking my 5 things posts? I ask because I'm a big fan of Tracy's Everyday Life posts and have been toying with the idea of starting a similar project. What do you think?
