I blogged about Topless & Barefoot before the Great Photo Fiasco (I promise I'll stop bringing that up soon) and you all know how much I love it. Apparently it's an almost exact dupe for RBL Opaque Nude, so there's that.
And I FINALLY have Beyond Cozy for you too. This polish you guys. I came across it when I picked up Butler Please and haven't been able to find it since. Until I went on an expedition across my town. I finally found it lurking at Rite Aid of all places. Which I should probably explain. For the longest time, they only carried the four polish display of Ballet Slippers, Wicked, Mademoiselle and company. So I had to giggle that I found an almost full Leading Lady display. Anyway.
When it comes to glitter, I really only like it on my toes and thumbs. I'm not quite sure what it is but it just bugs me. I think it's because cremes and shimmer are pretty much foolproof. It's the perfectionist in me that bugs out over glitter on my fingers. I'd originally wanted Beyond Cozy for New Years Eve, but alas I tracked it down on the 2nd.
Onto pictures!
This is 3 coats of Topless & Barefoot and 2 of Beyond Cozy with SV.
I love how delicate this turned out! I can't wait to wear it with other nudes =)
Has anyone tried a ruffian with Beyond Cozy? I think it might be a bit too rough, but I'm curious.
Happy Friday!!!

I wore B.C. as my after-Christmas mani (you know, when it's time to take the Party Hearty off, but you can't decide what to put on). I didn't love it as a full mani, but I'd definitely come back to it as an accent nail.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done a ruffian, but I did really want to do a half-moon mani with B.C. as the half-moon and a neutral on the rest of the nail, but I can't figure out how to do it with the guides I have (aside from freehanding it, which would be a disaster - the little imperfections would drive me insane and I'd wind up removing it within a day).
LOL I totally know what you mean.
DeleteI saw the prettiest neutral & gold glitter half moon mani on another blogger and I've been dying to try it ever since. I picked up Shoot the Moon not to long ago and that's been the object of my half moon fancy. Do you have the 3 hole punch guides? I too tried free hand once and it was a disaster.
T&B is the best on you, I swear.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that struck me about this mani was how very K2K it was. :)
My exact thoughts. :)
DeleteT&B is soooo good. I wish they'd make it perm.
DeleteHahaha omg, it totally is something she'd wear =)
