I am totally ashamed that I haven't shown you one my favourite reds of ALL TIME yet. What is wrong with me?
It's been overcast almost all week, so photo conditions have been yuck (because I prefer natural light) :(
I've mentioned before that Bangin' was my first RBL red. Chinoise was in the process of being restocked, so I couldn't pick her up first. But the minute Ji sent out the email that it was available, I ordered right away! And I was not disappointed.
I think of Chinoise like I do Madonna. It's a polish that can be so many things at different times, yet still remain a classic. Depending on my mood, I find Chinoise to be chic, sultry, or just plain awesome. And we all know how much I love reds =)
So, without further ado, one of my favourite reds. This is 3 coats (although 2 would have been fine, but I felt odd about it) with SV.

I've never been interested in Chinoise for some reason, but man it's a great red on you!
ReplyDeletethank you for the sweet comment!
DeleteThis is gorgeous, but I've never been willing to shell out $18 (or now $20) a bottle for basic colors like red. There are just so many great reds out there with great formulas for half the price. I like to save my RBL or Chanel purchases for more unique colors. I've got Diddy Mow on today, actually (and it WAS unique before Essie duped it!)
ReplyDeleteThis is true! Essie makes some of the best reds around but red RBL regret is the worst kind of regret (for me, anyway). RBL's the only $$$ brand I buy, so I don't feel too bad splurging LOL.
DeleteI bet it looks great on you!!
Hello, luvah. This red is perfect.
ReplyDeleteyessssss it is!
DeleteI have this and haven't worn it in awhile-come to think of it, I need to wear more red in general! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteyou totally do! =)
