Sally Hansen Shoot the Moon

For some reason, I've never been a big fan of Sally Hansen. I'm not sure if it's the brushes or the stems in the bottles or what. My first experience with the Complete Salon Manicure line was the much raved over Commander in Chic.

And it was a travesty. I've never been able to make the formula on that one work, it's always runny and watery and gross. Consequently, I don't own a lot of CSM polishes. In fact, I just gave my sister Gray by Gray. However, if I can find polishes like this one, I will be buying ALL OF THEM.

I saw this polish on ALU  and was immediately consumed with finding it. That happens a lot, actually. It's probably one of my personality faults. Whatevs. As you all know, I'm not usually a fan of metallics. But I am in love with this one! As an added bonus, it totally slayed my lemming for Graphite =)

Shoot the Moon is a really cool combo of gold and pewter particles that join together to make one badass foil. It's part of the line's relaunch and will be out in the new display in March, I believe. But it's already out in the promo displays! I snagged mine at Walgreens. This is 3 coats with SV.

Spring semester begins today. I can't believe how fast break flew by! I'm not ready to go back :( But I have a gender communication class that I'm REALLY excited for. I'm not overly worried about my class load, just not ready to go back yet.

I have a hair cut tomorrow! I'm not planning on cutting a lot of length off, just enough for something fresh. This is what I'm going for =)

What do you think of Shoot the Moon? I've been wanting to do polka dots with it...but I'm no good at those either LOL.
