Blue for Bryant Friday: Revlon Royal

It's back!!

Admittedly, I probably should have worn blue on Wednesday. But the series is back today =)

I had initially begun with Zoya Song but it was super thick and eating topcoat like a bird at a feeder. I still don't have my favourite thinner here...so that was scrapped.

I pulled out Royal and never looked back. Deep, cobalt and jelly. What isn't there to love about this polish? This is 3 coats with SV. I picked up Grand Central Station but am still learning how to use it...properly. Ha.

We were walloped with snow by Winter Storm Nemo (am I the only one that thinks naming winter storms is lame?) last night, about a foot after all is said and done. Receiving this much snow isn't rare (at all) in Michigan. However, due to the topography of where I live, snow usually ducks south or heads north of us. I grew up about 15-20 minutes south of where I live now, and we would receive the snow that this town didn't get. Michigan is a weird place. But, today is a snow day!!! Which means pajamas all day and a 3 day weekend =)

Do you like Royal? What's your favourite shade of cobalt?

  1. Snow days, I remember those! Nice about your town missing all the worst snow : ) And naming storms is annoying as can be.

  2. GASP. I LOVE THIS ON YOU. I wish this hadn't chipped so quickly on me, but that's Revlon for you!

    1. Me too! I wish I knew what it was about cobalt pigment that make them so...rubbery and weird to apply.

Not so much chipping but more mad tipwear with it. Oh, Revlon. You're such a tease.
