I think it might be a cure for the perennial Case of the Mondays.
I've made my feelings about metallics well known around these parts. I did find one favourite and I think I've found another one to add to my list. Although is it really a list if there are only two points? I dunno.
Now that I think about it, this is another part of my birthday haul! I showed you Cuprum before the photo incident and I blogged about the other yet =)
After knowing I couldn't live without Poppy & Faraway, I slowly picked up other parts of the collection. These included Jack, Abi & now Ghost. I still think I might want Bella, but am undecided. This is incidentally is also the first GOMM I have without a super wack brush! *dances*
Ji describes Ghost as, "In the twilight, the adobe casts its nebulous glow, and the mistress is on her rooftop wrapped in a Navajo blanket, walking stick in hand as she watches the first appearance of the muted, twinkling stars." I can actually envision this one!
This is 3 coats (although 2 probably would have sufficed) with SV.
I think I might be understanding why my friends are all metallic fanatics. I am in complete love with this polish. No brush strokes and the colour is to die for. I'm totally digging the combination of bronze, gold and brown hues. It's reminding me of older patinaed pieces you'd find while antiquing.
What do you think of metallics? Did you buy Ghost?

Ooooh! I like this one on you.
ReplyDeleteNever been a fan of metallics. I got a few when I first got into nail polish and recently gave them away because I just never wore them.
Thanks!
DeleteI wasn't really either! Although, I guess Shoot the Moon is really a foil, but I'll still call it metallic ;)
Some of them are just so finicky!
I'm not into brown polishes at all, but this does look nice on you :)
ReplyDeletethanks friend! =)
