They were too small for my calves. So I sent them back to Zappos and requested store credit with my return. Ordered a super cute pair of grey suede loafers that ended up being too narrow for my feet.
At this point, I was so over it, I just requested a full refund. A week later, I still hadn't seen anything on my credit card statement. Lo and behold, Zappos had given me store credit.
"Ohhhh no, please don't give me more money to spend on shoes!"-no one ever. But seriously, I was totes fed up. But, in need of shoes for work. So I ordered two pair of ballet flats from my trusty brand (Bloch, in case you're curious). Seeing they're significantly less expensive than Donald J. Pliner & Stuart Weitzman, I had extra cash on my refund.
Umm, duh. The polish section is the next best choice (well, after a lengthy internal debate with myself over buying a Kate Spade watch)! Unfortunately, Zappos' selection of butter London is kind of sad. I'd wanted Scouse...but they don't carry it. And Wallis just...wasn't what I was expecting. After much conversing with Rach, I settled on Jaffa.
And you guys, so. impressed.
According to butterLONDON, it's a, "juicy, orange nail lacquer that's seedless, but potent as Hell." Accurate.
It's a super juicy orange with pink undertones and I am in lust. It kind of reminds me of grapefruit, now that I think of it. The formula is very, very similar to Essie's quintessential jelly-creme formula. Love it!
This is 3 coats with NYC Grand Central Station
Ded.
Between this and RBL Coral, I am set for spring! As for NYC GCS, It's not quite as shiny and hard as Seche Vite...but at $1.99 and no shrinkage, a girl can't complain.
And because I'm bored, here is Elizabeth Caty Stanton. Two ways.
