Anyway! I bought this polish in mid-July (yeah I know!) when Bryant was taking his teaching certification exam. The nearest F21 to me is about 45 minutes away, so I hunted the stores while he was busy. After browsing J.Crew and Banana Republic (they're right next to one another at this specific location), I wanted to go see what sort of animal sweater offerings F21 had displayed.
Spoiler alert: none.
You see, I'm very meticulous about how I work that store. I usually start on the right side of the store and then cross over to the left wall, working my around to the back (SALE) section. Then the shoes. Then the middle area that just seems to be a wasteland of displays that don't make sense. Then the jewelry and polish. Not really sure why that's my strategy but it leaves more time to ponder the jewelry and sunnies offerings before I thoroughly creep everyone out by circling polish display.
I narrowed down my choices to this one (which I thought would be WAY too multichrome for me) and a light blue/minty colour. Went with this.
This polish has a heavy pink-yellow-green multichrome shimmer suspended in an evergreen jelly and it's everything. The pink shimmer is the predominant colour most of the time. AND the shimmer is way apparent in all lights, which is totes baller.
I would like to repeat that this polish was $2.96 (including tax). Because, well you'll see.
BUT LOOK HOW GORGEOUS IT IS.
The pink shimmer keeps it from pulling black and it's just...incredible. It reminds of a cross between RBL Turn It Around and Anne.
If you like inexpensive thrills or shimmers or Love & Beauty polish then you need it. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to show this to you.
Also...tomorrow (hopefully!) I'll have a blue polish for you =) Because, football!
